We had a great time at Sha’az yesterday. We were there for lunch and the atmosphere was lovely. We were served by Ahalya and Arpitha and they both were so good, kept checking on us, ensured the food was good. The best part was how willingly they were ready to customize the food as I requested for no MSG items on the menu. They kept the food preferences and spice levels appropriate to our liking. The veg noodles and roomali roti were my favorites but we absolutely loved the Raja Rani paneer starter and kaju paneer curry as well. As vegetarians with a high spice tolerance, I am so glad we were recommended this place by friends, totally lived up to the hype!

The best indian food restaurant! It’s really spicy indian food! Really delicious and lots of verity. Even in vegetarian or non vegetarian both had wide range of options from starters to main course and the price is also affordable. Definitely recommend for a good full filling dinner. —————————————————- I visited third time. This time I tried cream of tomato soup, it was delicious and flavourful. Also the paneer biriyani. It took long for biriyani to come but it was worth the wait!

We had a very good experience dinning there last weekend. We had to wait for a table for almost 30 minutes, but the food really worth the wait. Every dish we ordered was delicious and so tasty, even for the picky eaters in my family. Each dish comes with plain bread, but we ended up ordering 5 additional breads to go with the lamb and chicken stew. The server was kind and welcoming. Overall we had a great evening there and will come again.

Really excellent food! The taste was very authentic to India and the flavours were amazing! We ordered the mutton dum biriyani and kebabs with naan. Shaaz is definitely one of the best in Ottawa in my option for Indian food.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Shaaz, and it was an unforgettable experience! A friend's glowing review from Toronto prompted us to try it out, and Cassim’s warm welcome over the phone sealed the deal. We drove all the way from Orleans to Kanata, and the journey was well worth it. The exceptional service from Suma, Abdul, and Cassim made our evening truly special. The food was phenomenal – the mutton Donne biriyani tasted like my mom's cooking, and the complimentary dessert,, brought back fond memories of Sri Lanka’s Watalappam. Huge thanks to Cassim, Suma, and Abdul for delivering top-notch service. I highly recommend Shaaz – it's a must-visit!"
